What type of ethnic groups are in Somalia?

The Somali people are the predominant ethnic group in Somalia, making up over 85% of the population. The remaining population is composed of Bantu, Arab, Indian, and other smaller groups.

Somali people are an ethnic group native to the Horn of Africa, primarily inhabiting present-day Somalia. The Somali regions in present-day Kenya and Ethiopia are predominantly inhabited by ethnic Somali communities too, with sizeable Somali populations found in Djibouti and Yemen as well.
