Are the moroccan people African or Arab?

Moroccans are considered both African and Arab. Morocco is located in North Africa, and the majority of its population is ethnically Berber, an indigenous North African ethnic group. However, Morocco has also been influenced by Arab culture and history, particularly since the 7th century when it was conquered by Arab Muslims. As a result, the Moroccan population has a mix of Berber, Arab, and other ethnic influences.
