Kingdom of Kongo with the Ghana?

There were no direct contemporary links between the Kingdom of Kongo and the Ghana Empire. The Ghana Empire existed in West Africa from the 8th to the 13th centuries and was located in the region of present-day Mauritania and Mali. The Kingdom of Kongo, on the other hand, was located in Central Africa and existed from the 14th to the 19th centuries in the region of present-day Angola, the Republic of the Congo, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
