Who discovered Serbia?

Serbia was not "discovered" because it has existed as a region and a state for centuries. The territory of Serbia has been inhabited since prehistoric times, and the first recorded state in the region was the Principality of Serbia, founded in the 9th century AD. Serbia was later part of the Byzantine Empire and the Ottoman Empire before gaining full independence in the 19th century.
