Are there any lakes or rivers in Libya?

There are no permanent rivers in Libya. However, there are several dry riverbeds (wadis) that fill with water during the rainy season. The most notable wadi is the Wadi al-Kuf, which is over 1,000 kilometers long. There are also several small lakes in Libya, mostly located in the northern part of the country. The most famous lake is the Lake of Ubari, which is a large salt lake located in the Sahara desert.
