How many foreign embassies are there in Bhutan?

As of my last update in September 2021, there were no foreign embassies in Bhutan. Instead, diplomatic relations with other countries are conducted through honorary consuls. Honorary consuls are individuals appointed by foreign countries to represent their interests and provide assistance to their citizens in Bhutan. They are typically prominent citizens or businesspeople of Bhutan who are familiar with the local culture and customs.
