Does the Australian Open winnr get to keep trophy?

The Australian Open trophy is not the original cup won by the men's singles champion, but rather a replica. The original trophy, known as the Norman Brookes Challenge Cup, is kept in the Australian Open's trophy room at Melbourne Park. The replica trophy is presented to the champion during the trophy ceremony, and they get to keep it permanently.
