How do you register a religion in Australia?

1. Your religion must be an organized and defined spiritual practice with a distinct set of beliefs and practices.

2. Your religion must not promote hatred, violence, or illegal activity.

3. Your religion must have a minimum of 50 active members in Australia who support the teachings of their religion.

4. Your religious organization must apply for registration with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).

5. Upon successful registration with the ACNC, your religious organization will be provided with a tax-exempt status, allowing you to receive tax-deductible donations from individuals and companies in Australia.
