How long to drive between Gold Coast and Australia Zoo?

There is no direct route from Gold Coast to Australia Zoo. One possible route would be to drive from Gold Coast to Brisbane, then take the M1 motorway north to the Sunshine Coast. From there, you can take the Bruce Highway west to the Australia Zoo. This route would take approximately two and a half hours to drive.
