Was the border for Nova Scotia New Brunswick man-made?

The border between Nova Scotia and New Brunswick was created by natural geographical features, not man-made. The majority of the border follows either the Petitcodiac River and Isthmus of Chignecto or the Baie Verte and Missaguash River.
