Where is godavari river located in India?

Godavari is the longest peninsular river and second longest river in India after Ganga located in western and central part of south India . The river of Godavari originates from Triambakeshwar, Nashik, in south-western Maharashtra. The total catchment area of this basin is 312,812 km2 or approximately 10 per cent of the whole of India.
