What are the Atlantic Provinces in Canada?

The Atlantic Provinces, also known as the Maritimes, are four provinces in Eastern Canada that border the Atlantic Ocean:

1. Newfoundland and Labrador: Located on the northeastern tip of North America, Newfoundland and Labrador is the most easterly province in Canada. The province consists of the island of Newfoundland and the mainland Labrador, which is connected to Quebec.

2. Prince Edward Island: Prince Edward Island is the smallest and most densely populated province in Canada. It is located in the Gulf of St. Lawrence, about 10 miles northeast of New Brunswick.

3. Nova Scotia: Nova Scotia is located on the southeastern mainland of Canada. It forms a peninsula with New Brunswick and is separated from the rest of Canada by the Bay of Fundy.

4. New Brunswick: New Brunswick is located on the southeastern mainland of Canada, north of Nova Scotia and east of Quebec. It is the only officially bilingual province in Canada, where both French and English are official languages.
