How large is the Palo Duro Canyon system?

Palo Duro Canyon is the "Grand Canyon of Texas" and is considered the second largest canyon in the United States. It is approximately 120 miles (190 km) long, up to 20 miles (32 km) wide, and has an average depth of over 800 feet (250 m), with some points reaching depths of up to 1,000 feet (300 m). The canyon is located in the Palo Duro Canyon State Park in the Texas Panhandle region of the state.
