* The Honourable Owen Seymour Arthur (17 October 1949-) is a Barbadian politician who served as the fifth Prime Minister of Barbados from 1994 to 2008. He was the leader of the Barbados Labour Party (BLP) from 1993 to 2010. Arthur is considered to be one of the most successful politicians in Barbadian history.
* Freundel Stuart Stuart (27 April 1951-) is a Barbadian politician who served as the sixth Prime Minister of Barbados from 2010 to 2018. He was the leader of the Democratic Labour Party (DLP) from 2008 to 2018. Stuart is the longest-serving Prime Minister of Barbados.
* Dame Sandra Mason (17 January 1949-) is a Barbadian politician and jurist who has served as the President of Barbados since 2021. She was the seventh Governor-General of Barbados from 2018 to 2021. Mason is the first woman to hold either office.
* Sir Garfield Sobers (28 July 1936-) is a Barbadian cricketer who is widely regarded as one of the greatest cricketers of all time. He is the only cricketer to have scored a century in every Test series in a calendar year. Sobers is a member of the International Cricket Council's Hall of Fame.
* Sir Winston Scott (19 Winston, 1950-) is a Barbadian singer, songwriter, and producer who is widely regarded as one of the greatest reggae musicians of all time. He is the lead singer and songwriter of the reggae band Burning Spear. Scott is a member of the Grammy Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
