* Captain Cipriani: Arthur Andrew Cipriani (July 12, 1875–August 15, 1945) was a Trinidadian politician, social reformer, and trade unionist. He is considered one of the fathers of the Trinidad and Tobago labour movement and was a key figure in the 1937 labour riots. Cipriani was also a successful lawyer, businessman, and journalist.

* Dr. Eric Williams: Eric Eustace Williams (September 25, 1911–March 29, 1981) was the first prime minister of Trinidad and Tobago.
