Where do dodo birds live?

The dodo bird is an extinct flightless bird that was endemic to the island of Mauritius, east of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean. The species was first described by Dutch sailors in 1598 and is believed to have been extinct by the end of the 17th century due to hunting by humans and introduced predators such as dogs, pigs, and monkeys.
