Who can legally work in Trinidad and Tobago?

* Citizens of Trinidad and Tobago are legally permitted to work in the country without any restrictions.

* Non-nationals who have obtained a work permit or work authorization from the Ministry of Labour and Small Enterprise Development of Trinidad and Tobago are legally allowed to work in the country.

* Non-nationals who have obtained a CARICOM Skills Certificate are legally permitted to work in Trinidad and Tobago. This applies to nationals of other Caribbean Community (CARICOM) countries.
