How many miles is it from the Persian Gulf to Mediterranean Sea?

There is no water route from the Persian Gulf to the Mediterranean Sea. Although both lie at sea level, land blocks such as the Sinai Peninsula, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Yemen are in between the seas.
