Where is the chambal basin located?

The Chambal River rises in the Singoli (Ujjain) area of western Madhya Pradesh. Then it flows downstream north through the Malwa Plateau and then north through the Hadoti Plateau of southeastern Rajasthan. The area of Chambal basin is 143,212 km².
