What city is important for trade the mali boundary and Songhai boundry?

The city of Timbuktu is important for trade in the Mali boundary and Songhai boundary region. Timbuktu is located in the Sahara desert in present day Mali and was an important trading center in the 13th, 14th and 15th centuries. It was a hub for trade between the Berber people of North Africa and the sub-Saharan African kingdoms of West Africa. Timbuktu was also a center for Islamic learning and culture, and was home to one of the largest libraries in the world.
