Where Does Most of the World's Population Live?

Over 60% of humanity—more than 4.5 billion people—lives in Asia, the largest continent by both area (~44 million km²) and population. The vast majority concentrate in a handful of countries: China, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Japan, the Philippines, and Vietnam, which together hold ~75% of Asia's total.
