Who or what is a eurosceptic?

Euroscepticism is a term used to describe the critical or cautious attitude of individuals, political parties, or other organizations towards the European Union (EU) or the process of European integration. Eurosceptics may doubt the effectiveness or democratic nature of the EU's institutions, question the level of integration and cooperation it entails, or simply disagree with the specific policies or decisions adopted by the EU. Some eurosceptics are not opposed to the EU in principle, but rather seek to reform or change its current form, advocating for less centralization, more decision-making autonomy for member states, or closer control over the EU's activities. The term "Eurosceptic" encompasses a spectrum of viewpoints, ranging from skepticism to outright opposition to European integration.
