What does team Switzerland mean in The Twilight Saga?

Team Switzerland is a fan-made term that refers to the group of fans who support both Bella Swan and Edward Cullen from The Twilight Saga. The term is used because Switzerland is a neutral country that has not taken sides in any major conflicts, and the fans who identify with Team Switzerland believe that both Bella and Edward are equally deserving of love and happiness.
