Claiming Irish Unemployment Benefits After Moving from Northern Ireland

1. Check eligibility: Available for work, unemployed, previously in insurable employment, sufficient PRSI contributions.
2. Register at nearest Intreo Centre or Social Welfare Office with passport/ID, P45 (if any), proof of job search (CVs, listings), bank details.
3. Actively seek work via Indeed, Jobs Ireland, IrishJobs.
4. Attend regular jobseeker meetings to maintain eligibility and get support.
5. Receive payments once claim is approved.
