What is the minimum wage in Northern Ireland?

The National Minimum Wage (NMW) is the same across the UK, including Northern Ireland. The current rates, effective as of April 2023, are as follows:

- National Living Wage (NLW): £10.42 per hour for workers aged 23 and above

- National Minimum Wage (NMW):

- £9.50 per hour for workers aged 21 to 22

- £6.83 per hour for workers aged 18 to 20

- £4.81 per hour for workers under the age of 18

- £4.81 per hour for apprentices under 19 or in the first year of their apprenticeship

Please note that the NMW and NLW are statutory minimums set by the government, but employers may choose to pay higher wages based on their own policies.
