How many Spanish speaking people in Los Angeles?

Los Angeles has one of the largest Spanish-speaking populations in the United States. According to the 2020 census, there were over 4.8 million Spanish speakers in the Los Angeles metropolitan area, which includes Los Angeles County and parts of Orange, San Bernardino, and Ventura counties. This accounted for nearly half (48.8%) of the total population in the area.
