Baja California: Mexican Peninsula, Not U.S. State

Baja California is a peninsula in Mexico, bordering the Pacific Ocean to the west, the U.S. state of California to the north, and the Gulf of California to the east. It comprises two Mexican states: Baja California (north) and Baja California Sur (south).
