What butterfly mean in Mexico?

The butterfly has had an extraordinary significance with regard to the Mexican culture through time - both for the Mayans as well as the people today. As such, a Monarch butterfly often holds the symbolization of one's soul on a journey into death, or a spirit guide helping an individual cross-over.
