Arecibo: Home to Puerto Rico's Unique Taino, Spaniard, and African Slave Statue

The only statue in Puerto Rico depicting a Taíno Indian, a Spaniard, and an African slave together stands in Arecibo, the largest municipality on the island’s north coast. It symbolizes the three cultural roots of the Puerto Rican people.
