    • Mexico was home to about 111 million people, according to the 2009 Central Intelligence Agency World Fact Book. Of these people, most are Spanish descendants, however, many come from Mayan or other native groups.

    • Because the country has regions that fall under two climate classifications, climates vary in Mexico. In the north, the average temperature is 60 degrees. The south sees averages of 80 degrees.
