Who Founded Panama City? Not Francisco Pizarro

Francisco Pizarro did not discover or found Panama City. The city was founded in 1519 by Spanish explorer Vasco Núñez de Balboa (often credited as the first European to sight the Pacific). Pizarro is known for conquering the Inca Empire in Peru (1530s).
