Netarhat is a town in the Latehar district in the state of Jharkhand, India. It is located about 150 kilometers (93 miles) from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. Netarhat is situated at an altitude of 1,075 meters (3,527 feet) above sea level and is known for its scenic beauty and cool climate. The town is often referred to as the "Queen of Chotanagpur" and is a popular tourist destination. Netarhat is home to several educational institutions, including the famous Netarhat Vidyalaya, which was established in 1922. The town is also known for its waterfalls, such as the Lower Ghagra Falls and the Upper Ghagra Falls.
