Geographic Difference: Papua New Guinea vs. New Zealand

Papua New Guinea has direct access to the Pacific Ocean (north and east coasts). New Zealand, farther south, is bordered by the Tasman Sea (west) and the Pacific Ocean (east)—but its southern coasts face the Southern Ocean.

The key distinction: PNG is fully within the tropical/subtropical Pacific; NZ spans temperate to subantarctic latitudes with Southern Ocean exposure.
