What is the relative location of Connecticut?

Connecticut is located in the Northeastern region of the United States. It is bordered by New York to the west and north, Massachusetts to the east, Rhode Island to the southeast, and Long Island Sound to the south. Connecticut is the third smallest state in the US by land area and has a densely populated coastline with Bridgeport and New Haven being the state's largest cities. The state capital is Hartford.
