Where is mt Whitney?

Mount Whitney is located in the southern Sierra Nevada mountain range in Inyo County, California, United States. It is the highest mountain in the contiguous United States with an elevation of 14,505 feet (4,421 m) above sea level. Mount Whitney lies within the boundaries of Sequoia National Park.
