Pennsylvania's Geography: Not West of a State, Not East of the Atlantic

Pennsylvania is a Mid-Atlantic state. It is not west of any state (it borders New York to the north, New Jersey and Delaware to the east, Maryland to the south, West Virginia to the southwest, and Ohio to the west). It is also not east of the Atlantic Ocean; it lies inland, with New Jersey and Delaware between it and the Atlantic.
