Countries of the Scandinavian Peninsula

The Scandinavian Peninsula—often mistakenly described as "bear-shaped"—is occupied primarily by Norway and Sweden. The northern part of Finland (Finnish Lapland) also lies on the peninsula. The Kola Peninsula in Russia is geographically separate but sometimes grouped culturally. Denmark, while part of Scandinavia culturally, sits on the Jutland Peninsula and nearby islands, not the Scandinavian Peninsula itself.
