Where Can Hills Be Found?

Hills are natural land elevations found worldwide on continental landmasses. They occur as isolated rises or as part of mountain ranges, foothills, or plateau margins. Hills form through erosion (rivers, glaciers, wind wearing down higher terrain) or tectonic uplift (folding, faulting, volcanic activity). They exist in every climate and biome.
