Where is Bridport located?

Bridport is a town in Dorset, England. It is located on the western edge of the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site, and is about 15 miles (24 km) west of Dorchester and 25 miles (40 km) east of Exeter. The town is situated in a valley at the mouth of the River Brit, which flows through the town and out into the English Channel. Bridport is known for its rope-making industry, which dates back to the 13th century, and for its annual Bridport Arts and Literature Festival, which takes place in September.
