Why does south Korea hate the US?

There is no evidence to suggest that South Korea hates the United States. The two countries have close political, economic, and military ties, and South Korea is an important ally of the United States in the Asia-Pacific region. Although tensions exist, as between any two governments, it is not accurate to assert that South Korea hate the USA.
