Is Hawaii made up of other island or is it an all by itself?

The Hawaiian Islands archipelago is made up of 137 islands. Eight of the islands are considered the main islands, and they are located in a northwest to southeast chain:

The major Hawaiian Islands (by land area) are:

- Maui Island

- Oahu Island

- Kauai Island

- Molokai Island

- Lanai Island

- Niihau Island

- Kahoolawe Island

The remaining 129 islands are mostly uninhabited and are located mostly in the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands.
