Corona is a city located in Riverside County, California. It is part of the Inland Empire region and located in the southwestern corner of the state, it lies approximately 45 miles (72 kilometers) southeast of Los Angeles and 25 miles (40 kilometers) northwest of Riverside, the county seat. Corona covers encompasses a total area of approximately 41.8 square miles (108.4 square kilometers).
