What is the water source for Mission San Jose?

Mission San Jose's water source was an aqueduct that was built by the Native American Ohlone people. This aqueduct brought water from the Calaveras Creek to the mission. The aqueduct was made of stone and mortar and was about 2 miles long. It was a very impressive engineering feat and allowed the mission to have a reliable water source for irrigation and other purposes.
