Why the ocean older than land?

This claim is not true. Landmasses are much older than the oceans. The Earth is about 4.5 billion years old. The oldest rocks on Earth, found in northwestern Canada, are about 4.03 billion years old. The oceans are much younger, forming only about 3.5 billion years ago.
