Wales is home to over 50 Buddhist temples and centers. The majority follow the Theravada tradition, primarily of Sri Lankan and Thai lineage. Additionally, there are a smaller number of centers representing Tibetan (Vajrayana), Japanese (Zen, Pure Land), and Vietnamese traditions. This reflects the diverse immigrant communities and growing local interest in Buddhism across Wales.
