What colonies make up the new England colonies?

The New England Colonies consisted of the following colonies:

  • Massachusetts Bay Colony
  • Plymouth Colony
  • Connecticut Colony
  • New Haven Colony
  • Rhode Island Colony
  • Maine

Plymouth Colony and New Haven Colony eventually became part of the Massachusetts Bay Colony and Connecticut Colony, respectively. Maine was also eventually absorbed by the Massachusetts Bay Colony.
