Where are the surphur mines located in Pakistan?

Pakistan has two major sulfur deposits:

1. Lakhra Coalfield: Located in the Dadu district of Sindh province.

2. Kohat District: Located in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

However, the commercially exploitable sulfur reserves are primarily found at the Lakhra Coalfield, about 160 kilometers northeast of Karachi. The Lakhra Coalfield spans over an area of 400 square kilometers and contains significant deposits of sulfur, along with coal and natural gas.
