Which area does the York Regional Police serve?

York Regional Police (YRP) serves nine municipalities in the Canadian province of Ontario, Canada. The region is located north of Toronto and includes the following cities, towns, and villages:

- Aurora

- Bradford West Gwillimbury

- East Gwillimbury

- Georgina

- King Township

- Markham

- Newmarket

- Richmond Hill

- Vaughan

The York Regional Police is responsible for providing law enforcement and public safety services to the approximately 1.2 million people who live and work in the York Region.
