York Regional Police Service Area

York Regional Police (YRP) serves the York Region in Ontario, Canada, located north of Toronto. The region comprises nine municipalities with a combined population of approximately 1.2 million:

• East Gwillimbury
• Georgina
• King Township
• Markham
• Newmarket
• Richmond Hill
• Vaughan

The force employs over 1,500 officers and civilian staff, operating from multiple stations across the region.
