Relax at the side of a freshwater lake, one of more than a hundred freshwater lakes in Coldwater. Ride on Steam Engine No. 10, a 19th-century train still in working condition that glides you along Michigan's oldest railroad line. Or shop in many local Amish communities for baskets, chairs and other woodworking gifts.
Take a wine tour at one of the award-winning wineries, like Bel Lago and Chateau Grand Traverse. Walk through Traverse City's quaint downtown and tree-lined sidewalks. Enjoy the sun on the 180 miles of Lake Michigan shoreline close to Traverse City's downtown.
