Casinos Near Southwest Missouri

Southwest Missouri lays claim to one casino whose main entrance lies within the state border. Downstream Casino Resort is located on the border of Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri. Two more casino resorts are located nearby in the northwest section of Oklahoma, and all three are operated by Native American tribes.

  1. Downstream Casino Resort

    • The Downstream Casino Resort is owned by the Downstream Development Authority for the Quapaw Tribe. The casino resort features gaming, entertainment, golf, a hotel and dining. Located in the northeastern corner of Oklahoma, the parking lot is in Kansas and the main entrance is in southwest Missouri. The casino has a loyalty plan called the Q Club, along with monthly promotions and special events. Entertainment includes sports on large TV screens and live bands at Legends Sports Bar. The casino features more than 2,000 slot machines with denominations ranging from one cent to $25. Table games include Blackjack, Ultimate Texas Hold’Em, Three Card Poker, Crazy 4 Poker, Double Deck Blackjack and Card Craps, a traditional Vegas-style craps game. The 14-table non-smoking poker room holds weekly tournaments. A luxury hotel on-site has 222 guestrooms and suites. The nearby Eagle Creek Golf Club is 18 holes and is open to the public with season packages.

    Quapaw Casino

    • The Quapaw Casino is also operated by the Quapaw Tribe and features more than 500 slots along with popular games and jackpots, 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week. Slots include Royal Reels, Liberty 7's, Money Bags, Keno, Lucky Ducky and Monopoly. Table games include Blackjack, Spanish 21--a variant of blackjack--Crazy 4 Poker and Three Card Poker with tables that have no ante. Promotions at Quapaw Casino include ladies night and customer appreciation night. The casino’s lounge, The Paw, features live music, karaoke and daily entertainment. The Jackpot Grill is open 24-hours-a-day and features a full menu.

    Buffalo Run Casino

    • Buffalo Run Casino is an entertainment complex open 24-hours-a-day operated by the Peoria Tribe of Oklahoma. The gaming floor has over 70,000 square feet of casino space. Joe's Outback Casino, a casino within the casino, has over 400 gaming machines and is home to Joe’s Grill and Joe’s Saloon. Buffalo Run features slot machines that include a high-limit room with denominations of up to $25. Table games include a blackjack pit that features 14 classics including Ultimate Texas Hold'em, Three Card Poker and Crazy 4 Poker. There are no blackjack antes Sunday through Thursday from midnight to 4 p.m. Entertainment includes live musical acts in the Coleman Theater and the Peoria Showplace, a 1,500-seat event center. Dining is available at the Coleman House Restaurant and Joe’s Outback. The complex includes a hotel that has 100 rooms and one-room suites, all of which include complimentary breakfast, Internet access, microwave and free parking.
